UMMS moved into the building in 2005.

This facility was originally built back in 1904 by Henry Sonneborn, a clothing manufacturer who occupied the building into the late 1950's.

In later years this building became the headquarters for the Social Security Administration until it relocated to woodlawn.


  The Paca Pratt Limited Partnership renovated the property in the mid 1980's. At present, UMMS operates the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with on site security. This facility boasts 26,700 square foot floor plate with raised floors.
 
  25 S. Charles Street was developed by the Kornblatt Company in 1972. It was occupied by the First National Bank until it was acquired by M&T Bank, which now has stationed its headquarters in the building.
